Volunteer at the Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College, Lynchburg’s American Art Museum! We have many volunteer opportunities, both behind-the-scenes and public-facing. Support administrative duties such as data entry and filing, clean up automatically generated captions on lecture videos, prepare arts & craft materials, assist with public programs and family days, greet visitors, lead tours, and more. Volunteers enjoy access to exclusive lectures, tours, demonstrations, workshops, and field trips. Training sessions for docents (volunteer tour guides) begin June 17 at 1 pm. With a primary focus on animals in the American wilderness and their intrinsic connection to the ecosystem, Vita Wild showcases nine contemporary artists whose works reflect cultural and environmental changes that expand the expression and definition of traditional wildlife art.
